Mr. Bakker represents clients in international commercial matters. He advises individuals and companies doing business in The Netherlands and the U.S. with their immigration, contractual, compliance and corporate matters. He also has assisted in the representation of both multinational corporations and small partnerships in commercial litigation matters.

Mr. Bakker has broad expertise in foreign language and cross-border investigations, particularly in matters involving U.S. federal agencies in foreign corrupt practices, export control and antitrust matters. He has extensive experience in managing the unique foreign language and data privacy aspects of electronic discovery associated with cross-border litigation and investigations for clients of varying sizes in diverse industries including oil and gas, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, auto and financial services.

Ms. DeLaCruz represents clients in commercial litigation proceedings before federal and state courts. She has represented an African sovereign in a breach of contract action and has been involved in litigation in Latin America and involving a Latin American sovereign. Ms. DeLaCruz has experience with matters involving foreign sovereign immunities, U.S. registration of foreign agents, forum non conveniens and choice of law issues. Ms. DeLaCruz also has extensive experience with cross-border investigations involving foreign language e-discovery and data privacy issues, particularly in foreign corrupt practices, export control and antitrust matters. She has managed the foreign language aspects of electronic discovery in several high-profile matters. She also represents businesses seeking to move employees across borders.

In her private client practice, Ms. DeLaCruz represents seekers of a wide variety of U.S. immigration benefits, both family and business-based.

Ms. DeLaCruz is the President of the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the DC Bar Litigation Section's E-Discovery Committee, and serves on the board of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association.
